ZothNET started out in 1997 as Virtual Ventures under the domain names vv-inc.com and vv-inc.net, and in August of 2003 we had switched over to vvhost.us to get rid of the hyphens in the domain names, and in 2009 we changed one last time to ZothNET. Zoth is short for Zothecula which in turn stands for “God in an alcove”. As the founder & netadmin of this company I use the name Zothecula as a gaming name and I go by Zoth for short. Thus, the reason behind the name, ZothNET.
ZothNET Server(s) are located in downtown Chicago at the Wired Tree data center, one of the most stable data centers and networks I have seen in my 12+ year history in the hosting/server business.
